Wednesday, September 12, 5:00-7:00 pm
Do you want to find out the secret of having a happy child, and thereby a happy parent? Join us on Wednesday, September 12, from 5:00-7:00 pm, to hear Donohue's advice on how to accomplish this seemingly herculean task with ease.

She's been a Montessori guide, a teacher educator, a Montessori mentor and resolute explicator of the fundamentals of Montessori philosophy. She specializes in staff development workshops as well as in-class observations and feedback. She also conducts parent night sessions at Montessori schools.
Please RSVP to Ashley. Dinner and childcare will be provided free of charge, so please be sure to include the names of those attending, whether childcare is needed, and note any dietary restrictions.
Staff Appreciation Committee
The TMA appreciation breakfasts/lunches are starting up again! This was created by the parents to show our appreciation to the teachers and staff at TMA. We have something monthly and the staff looks forward to this special treat! This year it will be the second Friday of every month during the school year (Sept. to May). We (the parents/grandparents) will provide breakfast or lunch for the TMA staff. Please click on the link to sign up for a part of the meal. If you have something special that is not listed on the sign up that you would like to make, please let us know! There are about 30 TMA staff members at TMA.
If it is a breakfast, please bring any items that can be left out/refrigerated the night before (Thursday). Breakfast items will be out by 7:45 am on that Friday.
If you would like to assist with set up or tear down, I would love the help!
Read Tomorrow's Child Online
One of the benefits of being a member of our community is your free membership in The Montessori Family Alliance which provides online access to the current Tomorrow's Child magazine and a searchable database of every article in Tomorrow's Child so you can find information at a moment's notice. Please create your account to take advantage of this benefit.
After School Activities
After school activities have begun! A current list is available online so please register your child if you are interested in participating. There will be a link to this list at the bottom of every TMA Connection if you decide to enroll later in the year.
Please remember, we will no longer be able to collect payments at the front desk for after school activities. Program providers should instruct parents on how they will collect payment for their services.
Backyard Bash Committee
If you would like to be involved in the planning of the Backyard Bash, there is a private Facebook group to share information. Just click on the link, then click Join, and you will be automatically accepted. The committee needs as many helpers as they can get!
