Re-enrollment ends February 28
Re-enrollment is only open for 1 more week!
We will begin filling openings with new students on March 1, so don’t delay. The fee for re-enrollment increases to $300 for any contracts received after February 28 and then enrollment is dependent on space availability. We already have a substantial wait pool for the 2019-20 school year, so the only way to guarantee a space for your child and save $150 is to submit your re-enrollment contract no later than February 28.
Log in to ParentsWeb, choose Family, then Enrollment/Re-enrollment. Remember, no payment is due when submitting your re-enrollment contract, so check this off your TO DO list now. The $150 fee will be automatically applied to your March 1 statement. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Welcome!
Please give a warm welcome our new students and families who will be starting the week of February 25:
Financial Aid Applications due by March 31
For families who have completed enrollment for the 2019-20 school year, the Financial Aid application process will be open March 1-31 via Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) .
The $2,500 Pete Goad Scholarship is also available to those who are eligible for financial aid. This scholarship is awarded in addition to any other financial aid you receive from TMA. Applications are due by April 19.
Get Well Soon, Ashley!
Many of you may have seen Ashely's post to her Facebook account or Lisa Rebstock's Family Network call to help the Carroll family, but for those who do not know, Ashely is facing some medical issues related to pregnancy. We wish her a speedy recovery!
Shannon Oldenburg, who works in Elementary Extended Day, will be filling in at the front desk part-time while Ashley is out.
Help Needed!
If you’d like to help plan the spring fundraising event this year, please request to join the group. We are kicking it in to high gear and need your help! There are many things to do that don’t take much time at all and every little bit helps. We need people of all talents - but I really need someone to coordinate the art projects ASAP.

Elementary Open House
Thursday, February 21, 5:30-7:00 pm
How does your child learn using Montessori materials like the stamp game, large bead frame, checkerboard, test tubes, trinomial cube, pin board, or cubing material? Join us and let your child show you!
Elementary Standardized Testing
Practice: February 25-28, 8:30-11:00 am
Testing: March 4-7, 8:30-11:00 am
The Elementary students will be taking the Stanford Achievement Test the first week of March. In preparation for this out-of-the-ordinary testing, students will practice the week prior to the test. During both weeks, elementary students should arrive on time and follow their usual practice of eating a healthy breakfast. The testing procedures are atypical for the children, so they need as much mental energy as they can muster to complete these tests.
Bake Sale Update
The bake sale was a huge success and the students exceeded their goal! They raised just over $1,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Their work on this fundraising project represents many of the Portrait of a Graduate attributes – independent, intrinsically motivated and autonomous, socially responsible, compassionate, respecter of all persons, and productive, caring community citizens. Fabulous!
