Staffing Changes
Sydne Somers, who has been working as the Teacher Assistant in EC1, resigned this week to focus on personal growth and family. She has worked at TMA for the past seven years in a variety of roles. She will be missed and we wish her the all the best.
Diane Madrid-Forcucci is now the Teacher Assistant in EC1. She has been working in Elementary Extended Day and subbing in the Early Childhood classrooms for the past year.
We have hired Shannon Oldenburg to take over Diane's place in Elementary Extended Day. She will also be working as a substitute in all programs. She holds a BA in Art History and a Masters in Education. She has 16 years of experience working with children ages 2 through 12 years old. We are excited to have her at TMA!
Medication Reminders
We want to remind you about our policies regarding administering medication at school. Please make sure you are familiar with our policy which can be found on pages 58-61 in the Family Guide.
Please be sure to bring all prescription or OTC medication to the front desk with a completed Authorization for Administration of Medication form. Front office personnel will enter it into our database and take it to the classroom for the teacher to administer. DO NOT SEND ANY MEDICATION IN YOUR CHILD'S BACKPACK. This includes lip balm, hand sanitizer, or any product that is labeled with, "Keep out of reach of children." Please complete the Authorization for Administration of Medication form and drop it by the front office for these products also.
We have begun a new process of logging each dose in our system and sending a confirmation email to parents. This is a new system, so if you do not receive an email at the time your child was scheduled to receive a dose, please bear with us; it will not be instantaneous. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the front desk, call, or email us.

Review TMA and Earn Community Service Hours
Community Service hours are due by December 13! One way to earn hours is to share your perspective about TMA on local sites by clicking on the links below:
You can log one hour of Community Service for each of your reviews. YES, REALLY! You may not realize it, but reviews impact how Google lists our school and how close we are to the top on search results. The more reviews we have, the closer to the top we will get. So please, let the world know how much you love TMA!
