Early Childhood Family Trip
Friday, November 2, 2018
Save the date! The Annual Early Childhood Family Trip plans have been finalized for November 2. All Early Childhood families will go to Cedar Hill State Park for a long hike and enjoy a picnic lunch. The natural setting will be a great extension of our Zoology, Botany, and Outdoor curriculum areas, providing the opportunity for parents and children to identify leaves, trees, birds, and mammals. Look for details coming soon from your teachers. Please note, no Early Childhood/EC Extended Day classes will be held on this day.
Backyard Bash
Saturday, November 3, 2:00-5:00 pm
The Backyard Bash is a TMA community event that invites everyone to have a great time. This year's Bash will be a free event on Saturday, November 3, from 2-5 pm. We will have food, snacks, and lots of fun backyard games as well as an inflatable obstacle course, petting zoo, musical entertainment, and the opportunity to make people plates for a small fee. You can also catch a sneak peek of the Fall Book Fair. It will be a great community event!
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. We have 3 levels of support, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. All levels provide:
- Thank you on social media
- Signage at the Backyard Bash
- VIP parking in front of the school during the Backyard Bash
The Gold and Silver levels sponsor an activity or a food/entertainment booth. Contact Lisa to become a sponsor!
If you would like to be involved in the planning of the Backyard Bash, there is a private Facebook group to share information. Just click on the link, then click Join, and you will be automatically accepted. The committee needs as many helpers as they can get!

The Fall Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon! The Book Fair will be located in the Early Childhood Resource Room and open for a sneak peek at the Backyard Bash on November 3, from 2:00-4:00 pm. It will also be open the following week, November 5-9:
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Monday & Tuesday: 3:15 - 6:00 pm
- Wednesday-Friday: 3:15 - 5:00 pm
